As an Avionics technician, you will directly support Production with troubleshooting of avionics electrical systems such as, but not limited to, communications, navigation, autopilot, altimeter, lighting, power generation and distribution. The ideal candidate will also have experience with electrical terminations, continuity checks, functional tests of avionics systems and troubleshooting faults down to the Line Replacement Unit level.
Read and understand complex electrical drawings and schematics
Troubleshoot, repair, and test avionics and instrument systems on various airframes.
Experience using basic hand tools, aircraft test equipment and electrical test equipment
Properly document work completed in accordance with appropriate technical data
High School Diploma/GED
Familiar with FAA regulations
Experience using standard test equipment
Ability to read, write and speak English
Experience reading Engineering Drawings and specifications
Experience or education in avionics repair
